The Coleman's Maternity Session

I have known Britni forever.. seriously, forever.  My parents were really good friends with her Aunt and Uncle, so at every big family gathering I would see her :).  Years have passed, all of us "kids" have grown up and gone our separate ways, but thanks to facebook I was am still able to keep in touch.  Britni had originally asked me to photograph her wedding, but due to me moving to Canada I had to pass on the opportunity.  When Britni contacted me about newborn/maternity sessions, I was SO excited that I was going to be home to be able to do them!!
I am convinced that Britni and her husband Ryan are THE cutest expecting parents in the whole world.  They are both SUPER photogenic, and just so easy-going!!  They have a chalk board all in their house!!  How awesome is that!!!
I hope you enjoy their maternity pictures, I am counting down the days until I can get my camera on their precious little girl!!!

Thank you SO much to Britni and Ryan for choosing me to take your maternity pictures :)  I had such a good time taking them and CAN NOT wait to meet Norah!!! :)

KRHS Class of 2001's 11 Year Reunion

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph my 10... er... 11 year reunion. (Damn it where has the time gone?!?)  I am SO glad that it happened to be on the 11 year mark, because if it had been on time, I would have been in Canada.  When our amazing organizers asked me if I would  be able to take some pics, I gladly told them yes!  I did still want to be able to mingle, so I set up a photo booth and opened it up for a few hours.  It was a lot of fun capturing my class-mates getting a little silly :)

Because it was a very busy time of year, many could not attend, but it will still a great time.  Our organizers did an amazing job pulling everything together, and I had a blast taking these pictures.

Thank you to KRHS class of 2001 for being awesome and fun in the photobooth!!

The Best Christmas Present

This was my second time photographing this adorable family.  The first was during my October mini-session day, they booked two sessions, one for family and one for maternity.  During our sessions, I asked little man if he thought he was going to have a little brother or a little sister, and he was convinced he was going to have a little sister.  Connie and Tim decided that they wanted to be surprised and did not find out what they were having during pregnancy, but even so, little man was set that he was having a little sister.  Well, little man was right, and just a few days before Christmas, Connie, Tim, and little man welcomed little lady.  Below are pictures from their new born and family shoot just two days after Christmas.  Had a great time photographing this beautiful family!!

Congratulations to Connie, Tim, and little man on the beautiful addition to your family!!  As always it was such an honor to be able to photograph your family :)

The two tutus were made by my wonderful friend Heather. Check out her etsy page!!
